Ongoing Research into Dia de Muertos
During my month long international residency with JupiterFab in Guadalajara, Mexico in November 2024 I documented the shrines left on graves following Dia De Muertos
creating an installation of dried bunches of campesuchil flowers. I experimented with cyanotypes to capture the movement of this installation
This expanded on the documentary series developed after visits to The Pantéon de San Antonio Tecómitl and the Mixquic cemeteries during Dia de Muertos in Mexico City in November 2023.
